This is the first time I have won such a wonderful award, and I am deeply moved. I can go on to create more works that express my individuality, secure in the knowledge that what I have done to date was not in error.
In order to leave a sense of unease, in creating these works I focused chiefly on the angles and the objects in the background behind each animal.
