Coco Capitán

Artist
Spain

I am truly excited and honored to serve as a judge for this contest. Photography has always been such a powerful tool for expression, and I believe it captures not just moments, but emotions, ideas, and a glimpse into the artist’s unique perspective. I’ve always been drawn to images that tell a story—whether it’s through the lens of humor, intimacy, or raw honesty. For me, it's not just about technical perfection, but about how the photograph makes me feel. To the applicants, I encourage you to trust your instincts and embrace the personal voice that makes your work uniquely yours. This is your space to push boundaries, to explore what excites and challenges you. Don’t be afraid to take risks—sometimes the most powerful images come from those moments of vulnerability or experimentation. Photography is as much about capturing the world around you as it is about capturing yourself within it.
I’m excited to see how you all express your perspectives, and I can’t wait to be inspired by your creativity. Remember, this is not just a competition—it’s an opportunity to share your vision with the world.
