Shooting situations

This Image was shot during the Maha Kumbh Mela in Haridwar, India. This festival comes after every 12 years and is the biggest religious festival on Earth and is the largest gathering of humanity anywhere on the planet. This particular day when this image was shot 12 million people turned up to take holy dip in the River Ganga.

Further comments

Currently I am in the process of researching the lives of Naga Sadhus (naked saints). I often stay with them and attend their various other religious festivals. I want to work on an intensive photographic project on them to understand what drives them and their lifestyle.
